Six years ago a friend introduced me to pinball. Having grown up in the late 70’s and early 80’s, it was really more of a reunion of sorts. The very next week I went to the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown in Golden, Colorado and the rest, as they say, is history.

A few years later, I have a new hobby that affords all sorts of interests. I am not much of a player. I enjoy a good game, but would not fair well in a tournament. I enjoy collecting, but am not looking for the holy grail of rare machines. Although, I do enjoy learning as much as possible about all of the different machines and brands. And I am slowly learning how to repair and revive these relics from the past.

More then anything I enjoy cleaning and restoring. As an art director at a local Northern Colorado newspaper, graphic design and color matching is a daily part of my job. Working with Photoshop and large format printers has given me the skills to experiment into other areas of this hobby. Scanning a backglass and repairing the missing paint is both challenging and entertaining.

If any of my ‘skills for hire’ would be useful, drop me an e-mail and we can talk about what can be done on your project pin, whether it is a worn playfield or a custom machine for your business or other areas of interest.

Thanks,
Dennis
